 Fred Teger

Fred Teger has over 25 years experience guiding development of innovative hi-tech products and services in consumer electronics, computer systems and telecommunications. He has held executive level positions in several Fortune 100 companies, and has established new business ventures both domestically and internationally.
Among his many accomplishments within the consumer electronics industry, Fred guided initial design approaches for high definition TV products and direct-to-home satellite broadcast systems as Vice President at RCA Sarnoff. He also directed engineering teams in New York and California focusing on leading edge, multimedia communications technologies for Philips Electronics. These included developing new interactive Internet services for the Philips ScreenPhone and WebTV markets.
In addition, Fred has worked for many years with high impact in the computer-aided design, manufacturing automation, and software consulting industries. He initiated and established a new software consulting Business Unit for Triangle Computer Group in NJ.
Fred established and managed a successful, multi-national, computer systems venture based in Hong Kong. He was also CTO and founder of a domestic company, Satellite Network Delivery Corporation, aimed at providing a unique, one-way, secure data communications network covering the US nationwide. Fred has assisted companies in business development, with an emphasis on expansion of new products into the Far East and Europe as well as domestically. His efforts have included sales force training and prospect development.
Fred holds a B.A. and B.S.E.E. from Columbia University and was a David Sarnoff Distinguished Fellow for graduate study in computer science. He has received three Outstanding Achievement Awards from RCA. He is active in several professional societies including the IEEE, ASQ and AQP. He enjoys scuba diving, biking, skiing and has traveled and hiked extensively in Southeast Asia and Latin America.
